The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
